A rich tone can be achieved with a cedar soundboard and mahogany back and sides, while a spruce top with walnut back and sides provides a strong sound. If you are searching for balance, we recommend a combination of Sitka spruce and zebrawood. Contrarily, a truly dynamic sound is delivered by the all-mahogany Blue MM version. The maximum use of the sound potential of these woods is ensured by our proprietary voicing process of the soundboard. The natural sound and appearance are further accentuated by our semi-matte Open-Pore Finish. For Blue Plus models, the soundboard is coated with our proprietary Full-Pore High-Gloss Finish which further enhances resonance. The overall subtle appearance of the Blue Series guitars is completed by fine adornments, foremost being a walnut rosette in front and artificial tortoise binding.“
